“Competition makes you better, always makes you better, even if the competitor wins” This beautiful quote by Carlos Slim forms the base of Whitefield Global School’s annual Flagship Event ‘Wings of Fire’. It is a two-day inter-school competition extravaganza, where participants from various invitee schools put forth their winning streaks individually and collectively as teams, trying their best to fetch laurels for their respective schools. The best part of this competitive event is that through it students discover what they are capable of and how much more they can actually do. They compete and collaborate at the same time each trying to showcase the best version of themselves in competitions ranging from story-telling and advertising to wonderfully creative ones like Beat Boxing and DJ FunnyBones, according to their grades and age group. The event ends with declaration of the overall champions.
